Transforming food information for a
healthier, more sustainable future

  • Carbs make you gain weight.

Carbs are part of a balanced diet.

  • All ultra-processed foods are bad for you.

It really depends on the food and its nutrient profile.

  • Seed oils cause a rise in chronic disease.

In a balanced diet, seed oils don’t cause disease.

  • Fresh fruit & veg is better than frozen.

All forms of fruit & veg can be healthy choices.

  • You need to eat meat to get enough protein.

You can meet protein needs without eating meat.

Welcome to Infoodmation

EU Flag

A three-year Horizon project (2025–2027) working to improve how food information is shared across Europe. In its first year, the project maps how advertising, media, and policies shape our food choices.

In 2026, the focus shifts to understanding impact. We study how food messages influence shopping, cooking, and eating habits.

By 2027, the results take shape. Findings are transformed into practical tools, policy ideas, and the open Knowledge Hub—helping everyone make healthier and more sustainable food choices.
